Nikki is a very prideful, dismissive, and sadistic person, taking enjoyment in toying with her victims before killing them and not showing the slightest bit of guilt or remorse for apathetically taking the lives of people.
Nikki is highly murderous, sadistic and bloodthirsty as she enjoys causing destruction and chaos everywhere she goes, and killing anyone who stands in her way. Posing pretending as a courtesan, she seemed to have a seductive side as seen during her typical interactions with her male enemies such as Tengen Uzui. She somehow grew intimidated, but despised him after she was decapitated.
Despite being 226 years old, she had displayed childish and brattish tendencies such as throwing tantrums, crying hysterically when things didn't go her way, and lashing out against anyone to vent her frustrations to her half-sister that her father Muzan favors her. Nikki is openly aggressive and both verbally and physically abusive towards anybody that displeased her in any form, which is shown when she leaves her sister in jealousy .
She has shown to have exceedingly childish and aggressive tendencies, potentially due to being reborn. This results of her being mentally childish and developing the mental state of a child. This was shown when she threw a tantrum and cried when she and Daki were both beheaded by Tengen Uzui, showing her childish temperament and whining incessantly while spewing threats at the Hashira and Miwa who had surpassed her during her fight after insulting her dead deceased mother Tang Shen.
She develops a narcissist personality, claiming that she’s better than Miwa and wants to surpass her. In reality, Muzan never gave her the same potential as his adopted daughter and develop a delusional disorder of believing her own fantasy, thinking Muzan truly loves her, but deep inside knows that he gave her the same treatment as Daki and called her a lousy little pest behind her back.
She seems to have a somewhat caring relationship with Daki and Gyutaro, and Muzan thought she had been seen protecting them when she was under the possession of Miwa's body. At the time they were merged as one, with Karai showing her love for both, she praises and cares very much about them, as a big sister to Daki. However, she seems to develop a sexual lust and attraction directly towards Gyutaro, due to his strength and fighting skills. This was result of her being attracted to brutal strength. She also is shown to love her father unconditionally, despite the fact behind closed doors he has no affection towards her. He shows it to his adopted daughter, despite the fact she rebels against him.
However, she fell into a state of disbelief and depression after hearing of Daki and Gyutaro's deaths, causing her mental illness to draw into insanity and switching between her emotions. She also developed schizophrenia, hearing voices through Karai and Amelia who was still in her own subconscious, demanding her to give her body back and telling Nikki muzan uses her for gain She becomes highly vengeful and vindictive when she comes back to get her revenge on those who defeated Daki and Gyutaro and wants to kill her half sister for taking everything from her, such as her father, which results in losing both of them. She became mentally unstable during the progress.
However, she has an on and off with Hate who she is scared and afraid of and who is the most dangerous threat to the Hashira and Muzan. She tried to keep it under control. However, after Tanjiro and the others are foolish to almost destroy and defeat her, she releases hate from its prison and it takes over Nikki's body who Nikki still alive, Her hateful vengeance towards her half sister trying to kill her multiple times led to her ultimate downfall.
Even after trying to kill her sister, she said in the end that she didn’t want to start a sibling rivalry and wanted the same love and affection that Miwa has from her mom and dad, which saved her from being killed and sent her to Hell to suffer pain and loneliness instead. Miwa decided to save Nikki from her suffering and reincarnates her as Kairi to give her the life she wanted, happiness and a happy family and also erase her previously life and destroy every connection tours muzan and was also reincarnated and reborn as Haruko
After being reincarnated, Nikki lost all her memories and her demonized appearance. However, she still has her oni appearances when she’s angry and her powers as well. After being resurrected by her younger self, Nikki abandons her childlike persona and became serious and mature like Miwa.
If she hadn't been raised maliciously and deceived by Muzan and instead was taught proper morals and teachings, she would've become the polar opposite of her current self.

- Nikki's getting too much comparison to Zero Two, with people saying she looks identical to her. The creator said there was no inspiration of the character. However, the aggravation got to the point that the creator became completely irritated and called out everyone saying that this character is based off Mileena.
- Her relationship with Gyutaro is base of Joker and Harley Quinn/Punchline as well as Tiffany and Chucky. The difference is that Gyutaro isn’t abusive or manipulative towards Nikki like Joker and Chucky are to Tiffany and Harley, as his relationship with Punchline is never abusive as the Joker seems to like her evil nature.
- The episode 44 is a reference to Batman the animated series mad love where Harleen was a psychiatrist at Batman Arkham Asylum, where she took interest of extreme personality. However, she was manipulated by the Joker who told her many lies, causing her to give up her smart independence as a doctor to become his henchmen.
- Nikki acts very much like Lady D from Resident Evil, where she was cool and polite. However, she had a mental breakdown and wanted to get revenge on Ether Winters for killing her daughters, much like Nikki wants with the Demon Slayers who killed Daki and Gyutaro, when it was only self-defense and disobeyed Mother Miranda's orders of keeping him alive for the ceremony. However, she let her guard down after transforming into a dragon by the Venom Weapon Ether used on her, and tried to kill him one last time. After, Ether was searching for his daughter, who was not in the castle the entire time, but was with Mother Miranda to sacrifice her so she could rebirth her deceased daughter.
- Nikki sometimes acts like Tira from Soul Caliber, where she developed Multiple Personality Disorder. Her two emotions, Jolly and Gloomy, interfere helping her and her battles when she goes into them. Jolly is childish, very polite and battles, but Gloomy is vengeful, merciless, and unremorseful.
- Nikki has a lot of similarity with Rosie the Rascal, Amy's evil counterpart from the Moebius timeline, where she is madly in love with Sonics evil duplicate counterpart, Scourge. The hedgehog tried to make herself look older by using the rings to get him to notice her, but everything went backwards causing her to go completely insane.
